About Me

Hi, I'm Ntwari Bruce, a passionate and dedicated Computer Science student at Grambling State University. With a strong foundation in web development, data structures, and algorithms, I strive to apply my knowledge to solve real-world problems and create innovative solutions.

During my internship at KLab Rwanda, I played a pivotal role in migrating a large e-commerce website from outdated technology to a modern React front-end. Additionally, I developed a dynamic API using Flask-RESTful, which significantly enhanced the platform's functionality and user experience. This project honed my skills in front-end development and backend architecture, preparing me for complex project management and collaborative work environments.

I also developed an Issue Tracking Software as a personal project, which blends JavaScript's dynamic front-end capabilities with Django's robust backend framework. This sophisticated platform empowers developers with ticket management, labels, dynamic notifications, and seamless assignment functionalities, streamlining collaborative work and project management processes.

Beyond these projects, I've completed several courses that have deepened my understanding of computer science principles. Harvard’s Web Programming with Python (Django) and JavaScript course allowed me to develop dynamic full-stack web projects, showcasing my expertise in responsive web design and comprehensive backend development. The course on the Intellectual Enterprise of Computer Science from Harvard equipped me with a robust grasp of computer science fundamentals, algorithmic thinking, and proficiency in multiple programming languages including C, Python, SQL, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.

My technical skills are complemented by my involvement in various organizations and competitions. At Lycee de Kigali, I was an active member of the Science and Technology club, where I won first place in a regional Pi Day math competition and was recognized as the best third speaker in inter-school debating competitions. I graduated at the top of my class in Mathematics, Physics, and Geography.

In addition to my technical and academic achievements, I am deeply interested in debate, public speaking, reading, working out, gaming, and playing basketball. These interests keep me balanced and motivated, allowing me to approach problems with creativity and resilience.

I am constantly looking for opportunities to apply my skills and knowledge in challenging environments, contribute to meaningful projects, and grow both personally and professionally. Feel free to explore my portfolio and contact me if you'd like to collaborate or learn more about my work.
